Guess where we just arrived? If you guessed Washington, DC, you are right! Alex and I flew up for the weekend to visit one of my best friends, Meryl and her fiance Chris. Alex and I have been to DC several times, so we won’t be focusing on the famous sights (though if we wanted to, the furlough ended just in time!). Instead, on our agenda is:
- A Winery
- Shopping in Georgetown (and hopefully getting Georgetown Cupcakes)
- Oyster pots and happy hours
- Lots of friend time and cocktails
